Abstract
The performance of Galician troubadour lyrical poetry poses many problematic issues, some of which have already been addressed by modern musicology. In this paper, we proceed to a rethinking of some of them with the idea of focusing on performance practice. We emphasize the need to question the conditions under which this specific repertoire is produced and reproduced in bourgeois societies with a market economy.
