Organic Creativity and the Physics Within

e-BookOpen Access

A group of international top scientists from a diversity of disciplines sat together for five days with artists, designers, and entrepreneurs to develop a trans-disciplinary theory of creativity. Organic Creativity and the Physics Within assumes that creativity is a quality of nature visible in physics as well as in psychology, its basis being combinatorics, coincidence, complementarity, and fractal emergence. The authors prompt a mechanism cutting through particle physics, perception, psychology, and culminating into playfulness. Organic Creativity and the Physics Within connects us to the universality of nature's creativeness.

Table of Contents
“This book is fascinating. Its format is in line with its true democratic posture, it is brilliant in the exposition of the ideas and quite original in its philosophical argumentation of the mathematics and physics of creativity. I also see strong pedagogical implications in the section on playfulness. As an educator, I would definitely subscribe that play does not imply "silly" - rather, "pleasure" and "enjoyment" and "exploratory" and "discovery." It is an unspecific search. Creating new problems is almost as enjoyable as creating solutions." These considerations should definitely see their way into learning environments.”
