Francophonie

SUMMARY Francophonie: Gain in Humanity or Loss of Identity? Since the first Summit of French-speaking countries in Paris in 1986, there is a new discourse about Francophonie. This article argues that the new discourse continues to either overlook or misinterpret the facts and cannot extricate itself from the simplistic and polarizing dichotomy according to which Francophonie is either a "gain in humanity" or a "loss of identity". This author suggests that Francophonie is neither and that the time has come to accept the linguistic realities of Francophone Africa for what they are and, at the same time, to realize that Francophonie partakes of the natural process of human evolution. RESUMO Franclingvismo: Ĉu gajno de humaneco aŭ perdo de identeco? Post la unua kunveno de ŝtatestroj de landoj uzantaj la francan lingvon en 1986 en Parizo estiĝis nova debato pri la franclingvismo. La nova debato ne ĉesas pretervidi aŭ misinterpreti la faktojn kaj ne sukcesas liberiĝi de la trosimpliga kaj dispartiiga distingo laŭ kiu franclingvismo estas aŭ "gajno de humaneco" aŭ "perdo de identeco". La aŭtoro tezas, ke franclingvismo estas nek nek, kaj ke estas tempo agnoski la lingvan realecon de franclingva Afriko kaj samtempe konsciiĝi pri tio, ke la franclingvismo estas ero de la natura procezo de homa evoluo.
