Résumé
Dans cet article, nous parlerons de deux aspects de l'apprentissage des langues qu'on désigne communément par le nom de fossilisation (angl. fossilization) et d'emploi du Moniteur (angl. Monitor use).
Une étude des prémices théoriques de ces deux phénomènes mène à la conclusion que par leur essence même, ils semblent s'exclure mutuellement. L'étude d'un cas (des énoncés d'un sujet chilien parlant le roumain dans une situation "monitorisée" et dans une situation informelle) montre que dans ces deux situations, des différences sont présentes mais qu'elles sont peu importantes.
