The present monograph is a revised version of my PhD dissertation entitled Aproximación á modalidade epistémica en galego: o dominio adverbial, submitted and defended in 2021 at the University of Santiago de Compostela.

First of all, I would like to thank my supervisor, Francisco Cidrás, for providing me with his insight, frankness, and friendship along the way.
