We would like to thank the individuals who played a part in the creation
of this volume. First, we would like to thank the contributors for all the time and
effort they spent researching, writing, and editing their manuscripts. We feel fortunate
to have so many outstanding scholars contribute their work to make this volume what
it is. Second, we are grateful for those who provided peer reviews of the
contributions in this volume, giving their time and expertise. We are thankful for
their generosity, especially since these reviews were largely completed in the early
portion of the global Covid-19 pandemic. This period was likely filled with
professional and personal uncertainty, and personal hardships. The fact that they
donated their time during such shifting and uncertain circumstances is truly
appreciated, and their willingness to participate is laudable. To that end, we would
like to thank each of the following reviewers: Sarah Blackwell, Wendy Baker-Smemoe,
Silvina Bongiovanni, Jennifer Bown, Anel Brandl, Esther Brown, Timothy Face, Jordan
Garrett, Carolina González, Atsushi Hasegawa, Maria Hasler-Barker, Chad Howe,
Christina Isabelli, Elena Jaime Jiménez, Victor Lara Bermejo, Silvia Marijuan,
Rafael Orozco, Margaret Quesada, Anne Reynolds-Case, Javier Rivas, Rachel Shively,
Virginia Terán, Emma Trentman, Janire Zalbidea. Finally, we want to thank the
editors from John Benjamins who helped us greatly to make sure that the entire
process went smoothly.
