Abstract/Résumé
La traduction a pour objectif de transmettre tous les renseignements de la langue source au texte de la langue cible, cependant dans la plupart des cas, les éléments idéologiques de la langue cible réagissent sur la traduction. En prenant comme exemple les deux versions de The Gadfly, ce présent article a fait des recherches sur l’influence de l’idéologie de la langue cible sur le processus et le produit de traduction, et essentiellement sur les cinq aspects: sélection du texte de la langue de départ; choix des stratégies du traducteur; rédaction et publication des traductions; critique du texte traduit et réaction des lecteurs, ainsi que canonisation de la traduction avec les efforts conjugués des traducteurs, des éditeurs, des critiques et des lecteurs.
