Résumé
La première publication d’Interpréter pour traduire date de 1984. Les textes qui y sont réunis jettent les fondements de la Théorie Interprétative de la Traduction, une théorie cohérente expliquant le processus de l’interprétation et de la traduction. Les avancées des sciences cognitives ont peu à peu confirmé les constatations pragmatiques des auteurs, ce qui justifie cette cinquième édition par les Belles Lettres.
Abstract
Interpréter pour traduire, first published in 1984, laid the foundation of the interpretive theory of translation. A number of its findings are today being validated by cognitive scientists. The fact that it remains quite topical explains why it was republished in 2014 by Les Belles Lettres.
