Abstract/Résumé
Il s'agit d'une étude de cas d'omissions dans 'interprétation simultanée (SI) de cinq interprètes de mandarin lors de la conférence de presse télévisée d’un chanteur pop de Canton en anglais. Des cas récurrents d'omissions sont identifiés, classés et analysés en comparant texte source et cible. Sur la base des modèles d'effort de Gile, les différences d'ordre des mots entre les langues source et cible peuvent être considérées comme des déclencheurs de problèmes qui nécessitent une plus grande quantité de capacité de traitement, ce qui entraîne des omissions relevées dans les interprétations. L’ observation de la façon dont les interprètes font face aux différences d'ordre des mots montre qu'ils utilisent des stratégies telles que la réorganisation et la segmentation. Il est à espérer que les connaissances tirées de cette étude informeront la discussion sur les stratégies de la simultanée et son 'enseignement.
