中美合作国际中文教育的一个案例

普林斯顿北京暑期中文培训班，简称普北班，是1993年在北京师范大学成立的，至今已31年了。普北班在国际中文教学界所代表的是务实认真的教学作风，我们不追随洋理论，不赶时髦，不趋极端。我们相信字正腔圆是文化得体的先决条件，先准后快，是教授汉语的基本原则。

The Princeton-in-Beijing Summer Chinese Program (PIB) was established at Beijing Normal University in 1993 and has now been running for 31 years. In the field of international Chinese language teaching, PIB represents a pragmatic and rigorous teaching approach. We do not follow foreign theories blindly, chase after trends, or pursue extremes. We believe that proper pronunciation and articulation are prerequisites for cultural appropriateness, and that accuracy before fluency is the fundamental principle of teaching Chinese.
