提要
通过分析美国宾夕法尼亚大学中文项目八门主要中文课程使用的三部教材《一言一行学中文》、《传承中文》、《新的中国》中汉字、词汇的数量与等级,本研究探讨《国际中文教育中文水平等级标准》在美国落地的挑战和意义,也为未来美国大学中文课程的总体设计、衔接和教材编写提供参考依据。

Abstract
This study analyzes the quantity and level of difficulty of Chinese characters and vocabulary in three textbooks – Speak and Act: Beginning Chinese, Heritage Chinese, and A New China – used by eight major Chinese courses in the University of Pennsylvania’s Chinese language program. It explores the challenges and significance of applying the Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education in the United States. Furthermore, the study provides a reference for future course design, curriculum articulation, and textbook development of Chinese language courses in American universities.
