Constructions and Frames
Author info
Constructions and Frames welcomes submissions on construction-based approaches to language analysis. Constructional models emphasize the role of constructions, as conventional pairings of meaning and form, in stating language-specific and cross-linguistic generalizations and in accounting equally for regular and semi-regular patterns. The journal promotes innovative research that extends constructional approaches in new directions and along interdisciplinary paths.
Initial editorial screening determines whether manuscripts will proceed to double-blind peer review. Papers may be desk rejected if they do not align with the journal's constructional linguistics focus. Authors are encouraged to send the editors a summary of their paper prior to formal submission by email as regular text or attachment to ensure the paper fits the scope and goals of the journal.
Constructions and Frames offers online submission through the journal's EM submission portal.
Please consult this Short Guide to EM for Authors.
Initial submissions must take into account these Requirements for submissions.
If and when your paper is accepted, you will be asked to submit a final
version that should be formatted according to our detailed Formatting guidelines for accepted manuscripts.
Accepted manuscripts are published Online First to ensure rapid dissemination of research; the Version of Record, with full citation details, will be available online while awaiting inclusion in a next available issue.
If you are not able to submit online, or for any other editorial correspondence, please contact the editors via e-mail: constructionsandframesgmail.com.
