At over 700 pages, this book is a lengthy one, and it has a lengthy title to match: Comparative Law for Spanish-English Speaking Lawyers: Legal Cultures, Legal Terms and Legal Practices / Derecho comparado para abogados anglo- e hispanoparlantes: culturas jurídicas, términos jurídicos y prácticas jurídicas. The title and subtitle pack in a lot of information. Just from looking at the cover, the reader is advised of the book’s general topic (comparative law), audience (English- and Spanish-speaking lawyers), focus (legal cultures, terms, and practices), and its uniqueness (it is written in two languages). Perhaps a helpful way to review the book is to consider how each of these elements is present in the work, so I will proceed in that fashion.
