Зміст

Локалізацією називають мовну і культурну адаптацію цифрового вмісту до вимог місцевої специфіки іноземного ринку; процес локалізації включає надання послуг і технологій для управління багатомовністю світового інформаційного цифрового потоку. Отже, до локалізації входить переклад (цифрового матеріалу – допомога користувачу, переклад веб-сайту і відеоігор) і низка інших процесів. Всупереч визначенням Асоціації з розробки стандартів у сфері локалізації (LISA, 2010) або автора Кірана Данна (Dunne, 2006), це пояснення чітко зосереджується на цифровому вмісті і включає управління багатомовністю як одним із важливих аспектів локалізації.
