Зміст

Більшість загальновживаних термінів та понять у перекладознавстві піддаються критичній оцінці, зокрема корекції з урахуванням нових розробок та напрямків. Однак те, що перекладознавство, можливо, більшою мірою, ніж інші дисципліни, прагне висувати на перший план метамовні питання, без сумніву, обумовлено самою природою перекладу як практики, що передбачає взаємодію між різними мовами та культурними традиціями. Тому не дивно, що реакція на ці взаємозв’язки супроводжується зростанням взаємодії між різними дослідницькими традиціями в усьому світі. Відповідно, «об’єктивістські» підходи ось уже кілька десятиліть як відступили на задній план, поступившись «релятивістським» і більш конкретно історичним поглядам на концепцію перекладу (Translation) та на найдоцільніші методи її визначення та вивчення.
